“After reading about Klikk, it was easy to fire up some servers. I was up and running with a new MCU server within an hour!”

First off, what is Easymeeting?

Easymeeting is a video conferencing company that was started in 2009 and has customers in Europe and Norway.

While serving customers in all industries across the globe, Easymeeting has recently transitioned to providing better services to healthcare professionals – and they were recently approved as a trusted partner to the Norwegian Health Network.

When it comes to Healthcare, data security is paramount.

“It was easy for me to get started with Klikk. I signed up and immediately set up some servers.”

The number 1 requirement? High security

Data security is scrutinized at every step of the process in healthcare and Easymeeting were tasked with showing, in detail, where all their data is hosted.

This is where the US and North American data security levels fall short (you can blame the previous administration for that!).

Fortunately for Easymeeting, Klikk stores all data in Norway and Germany, which aligns perfectly well with what the Norwegian Health Network is looking for – secure data that is stored in Norway for Norwegian citizens.

And that’s when the decision to find a new server provider began.

Up and running in minutes, not days (or weeks)

The Easymeeting board had heard about Klikk and suggested that Thomas look into it as a possible alternative to AWS as a select group of customers prefer their meetings to run on Norwegian servers.

Thomas isn’t one to book meetings with sales teams to discuss servers. No, he likes to “see it with his hands” and test it himself.

“It was easy for me to get started with Klikk. I signed up for a free trial and immediately set up some servers.”

Get started with Klikk today and have your first MCU server up and running in 1 hour – just like Easymeeting did. Sign up today!

So far, so good.

And now the best part:

“Setting up a new server in the dashboard felt like home”, he says.

What he liked about Klikk was our ease of use and simplicity, without focusing on complex features and functionality.

“We are also using AWS and GCP, but they have too many features. You need to be a specialist to use them!”

You don’t need to be a specialist to get up and running with Klikk.

Making the “go or no-go” decision with Klikk

Video conferencing is hugely taxing on servers.

So, first and foremost, the biggest question for Thomas was:

“Can Klikk power up the servers well enough?”

As anyone that’s ever attended a video conferencing meeting knows – delays, sound issues and lagging can be extremely frustrating!

So, you can imagine their concern when they’re looking at powering up meetings with 50 to 60 participants – or in some cases, more than 200 participants!

That’s why choosing the right provider is so important for Easymeeting.

And that’s what it came down to – the go or no-go decision.

With a resounding YES, the GO decision to become a Klikk customer was made.

So far, Thomas has tested Klikk with up to 30 participants and is very happy to report that Klikk can handle the demand. Soon, they will be ready to “fire up some more MCU’s as the volume increases to 100-200 participants”.

Ready to scale in 3, 2, 1…

The reception internally has been very welcoming.

Thomas’ colleagues were very happy to hear about Klikk. Even though Easymeeting is a global company, “they can’t forget they are a Norwegian company”, he states.

“Supporting Norwegian companies is good for Easymeeting, and it’s good for Easymeeting customers”.

Thomas strongly believes that Klikk is the right move for them.

As he says “We can just set up and upgrade anytime we want. No changes necessary.”.

It’s this kind of flexibility that Thomas and the entire Easymeeting team like about Klikk.

Another thing to note:

Before the pandemic, Easymeeting were used to seeing a huge CPU-load on Mondays, but now – the CPU-load is high every day of the week!

And when asked if he believes Klikk can support this demand?

“I’m not afraid that Klikk can handle this”.

In fact, Thomas is already looking to the future – in a big way!

“I’m considering moving most of our back-end to Klikk. That’s putting a huge trust in them!”

Whenever you’re ready, we’re here to support you, Thomas.
